Apps to help make your day more productive
With the portability of modern smartphones it is no wonder they are in the pockets of most adults and teens. One benefit of many includes the ability to access emails and documents on the go, and therefore is a handy tool when it comes to working away from the office. Here is our list of useful iPhone and Android apps, which may help you organise your day more efficiently.
Dropbox (Android, iOS)
Dropbox is an online locker for files, documents, photos and other data that can be accessed anywhere, on any device, once the files have been uploaded. The app allows you to access and share your files on the go.
Evernote (Android, iOS)
Evernote allows users to take and upload notes, pictures, audio and video clips and organise them into notebooks that can be accessed on different devices. The free version lets users upload a sufficient 60MB worth of content a month. There is also a paid version that allows you to access more options.
Word, Excel & PowerPoint (Android, iOS)
Microsoft’s Office Word, Excel & PowerPoint are available for download on both Android and iPhone. These allow users to view and edit documents, spreadsheets and presentations on the go, whilst maintaining the format of that when on the desktop software. These apps are perfect for those needing to access documents when they are out of the office.
Outlook (Android, iOS)
The Microsoft Outlook app brings your email, attachments, contacts and calendars to one device for easy access. As well as being able to easily sort and manage your emails, the app automatically brings important emails to the surface of your account based on your communications.
Trello (Android, iOS)
As an online bulletin board you can create and set up to do lists, tasks, notes, ideas, and more. It is an efficient and visual way to organise your day, with the ability to add pictures to your lists, and share them with other users.
